Police Issue Lookout Notice Against Building Owner

A five-storey building collapsed in Delhi’s Satya Niketan area, killing seven people. Following the incident, Delhi Police issued a lookout notice against owner Hari Ram.

Official sources shared this information on Monday. Police said they issued the notice while searching for people allegedly responsible for the collapse.

Earlier, police registered a case against Hari Ram and others at South Campus police station. The charges included culpable homicide, negligence in building maintenance and risking public safety.

Meanwhile, rescue teams continued operations on the second day. Authorities removed 11 people from the debris so far.

The building stood near Delhi University’s South Delhi campus. It collapsed around 1:30 pm on Sunday during repair work. The structure housed a boys’ paying guest accommodation.
