The Congress launched a protest march towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence on Tuesday. The demonstration focused on the NEET paper leak issue. The protest followed the alleged police lathi-charge during the CJP Parliament March. Congress leaders opposed the action against students during Monday’s protest. Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra joined the march. Several other Congress leaders also participated in the demonstration.
The party raised concerns over the police action during the student protest. The opposition continued its attack on the government over the paper leak issue.
Rahul Gandhi And Priyanka Lead Opposition Protest
Congress leaders reached the Prime Minister’s residence area while raising their concerns. The march took place during the Parliament Monsoon Session. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge also joined Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. Several senior party leaders participated in the protest. The demonstration came after the CJP Parliament March on Monday. During that march, police used force against protesting students.
