CJP Founder Gives 48-Hour Ultimatum To CEC Gyanesh Kumar Amid SIR Row

CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke demanded Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation, warning of a nationwide protest if he does not step down.

Amid the ongoing controversy around the Election Commission and SIR process, Cockerel Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke issued a warning. He gave Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar a 48-hour deadline to resign.

Dipke said that failure to resign would lead to a nationwide movement against Gyanesh Kumar. He also referred to a possible “Jantar Mantar Part 2” protest.

Abhijeet Dipke Makes Allegations During Press Conference

While addressing a press conference in Delhi, Abhijeet Dipke made several claims about deleted voter numbers. He said Maharashtra saw deletion of more than 2 crore votes after Gyanesh Kumar became election commissioner. According to Dipke, Uttar Pradesh also lost more than 2 crore votes. He further claimed West Bengal saw 90 lakh votes affected.

Additionally, he mentioned Delhi with 47 lakh excluded voters. He also cited Kerala with 24 lakh voters and Tamil Nadu with 97 lakh voters.

Dipke claimed Karnataka had 1 crore affected votes. He also mentioned Telangana with 73 lakh voters.

He said these figures together crossed 13 crore deleted votes. According to him, this number represents nearly 13 to 14 percent votes.

Dipke Links Claims With 2024 Election Numbers

Dipke referred to the 2024 Lok Sabha election while making his claims. He said the vote difference between sides was around 2 percent. He claimed that removing 13 crore votes could increase that gap. Furthermore, he questioned the reason behind such deletions.

Dipke said the 2024 election results showed BJP did not achieve a majority. He mentioned that BJP reached 240 seats after aiming for a larger number.

Claims About Regional Leaders And Election Pattern

Dipke mentioned several regional leaders during his statement. These included Uddhav Thackeray, NCP, Stalin, Pinarayi Vijayan, Arvind Kejriwal and Mamata Banerjee. He claimed these chief ministers faced defeats one after another. According to him, leaders who joined together during the 2024 election campaign later lost power. Dipke also cited examples involving voter deletions. He claimed 50,000 votes were deleted from Mamata Banerjee’s seat before she lost by around 15,000 votes.

He further claimed 1 lakh votes were deleted from M.K. Stalin’s seat. According to him, Stalin lost that seat by around 45,000 votes.

Dipke also mentioned Arvind Kejriwal’s seat. He claimed 40,000 votes were deleted there before Kejriwal lost by around 4,000 to 5,000 votes.

Dipke Demands Gyanesh Kumar’s Resignation

Abhijeet Dipke questioned BJP’s recent election performances. He claimed BJP was achieving results beyond its earlier peak period. He said the situation differed from 2014 to 2019-20. According to him, Narendra Modi’s wave during that period faced fewer questions. Dipke claimed public sentiment has changed now. However, he questioned BJP victories despite this change.

He alleged Gyanesh Kumar helped BJP achieve these results. Therefore, he demanded that Kumar should resign from the position of Chief Election Commissioner.
