Bollywood actor Bhumi Pednekar reacted to the alleged rape case involving a 16-year-old girl. The incident happened inside a moving sleeper bus in Delhi-NCR. She shared a social media post and called the incident shameful.
Through her Instagram story on Monday, Bhumi expressed disappointment over repeated safety concerns. She questioned how such incidents continue despite regular discussions about women’s security.
The actor wrote, “How can we keep watching this happen again and again! Shameful!” Her post quickly gained attention on social media.
What Happened Inside The Moving Bus?
According to the report, a 16-year-old girl faced an alleged gang rape inside a moving bus in Delhi. The bus travelled around 43 kilometres before leaving her on the roadside.
The victim boarded the bus from Greater Noida’s Pari Chowk on August 4 night. She expected the bus to drop her at Noida Sector-63.
However, the bus driver and conductor allegedly committed the crime during the journey. Later, they allegedly left her near Delhi’s Kashmere Gate area.
After Delhi Police registered an FIR at Kashmere Gate police station, authorities arrested two accused. Police caught bus driver Kuldeep, 39, and conductor Sandeep, 26, from a Timarpur parking area.
