Kejriwal’s Emotional Response

AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal responded emotionally, saying, “The court has rejected all accusations against us today.”

He emphasized that the claims of corruption made against him had no basis. Kejriwal thanked the judge for delivering justice and proudly declared that the truth had won.

He added, “The entire case was fabricated,” pointing to the involvement of Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Kejriwal stated that they created the “fake case” to bring him down.

Kejriwal and Sisodia Acquitted

The special bench at Rouse Avenue Court delivered a landmark decision, acquitting both Kejriwal and Sisodia. The judge, Jitender Singh, noted that the CBI failed to present credible evidence against them.

The court harshly criticized the investigation, highlighting the lack of reliable evidence. According to the judge, the CBI charge sheet had numerous flaws.

The court emphasized that the charges against both leaders lacked support from any witnesses or credible statements.

CBI’s Investigation Criticized

The judge mentioned that the CBI could not establish a prima facie case against Manish Sisodia. The court also clarified that Kejriwal was implicated without any solid evidence.

Ultimately, the court dismissed the case and acquitted all 23 individuals involved. The court refused to charge any of them.

Additionally, the court reprimanded the CBI for mishandling the investigation. The agency received severe criticism for its flawed approach, which led to the case being dismissed.
