Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged citizens amid the Iran war crisis. He asked people to avoid buying gold and reduce oil consumption. However, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav attacked him sharply. He said Modi remembered the crisis only after elections ended. Moreover, he asked BJP leaders to accept failure if they cannot run the government.
Akhilesh Calls BJP The Real Crisis
Akhilesh posted his response on social media platform X. He wrote, “As soon as elections ended, they remembered crisis.” Then, he added that India faces only one real crisis. Dollar, Rupee And Government Control

Gold Appeal Faces Corruption Charge
The SP chief also targeted the appeal against buying gold. He said Modi should not address this appeal to ordinary citizens. Instead, he asked BJP leaders to tell their corrupt people. Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Ahmedabad And Guwahati Remark

Questions Over Post-Election Restrictions

He also questioned hotel stays by BJP leaders. Moreover, he mocked whether they cooked food with a cylinder photo.
Video Conferencing And Public Burden
Akhilesh also questioned BJP’s campaign methods. He asked why BJP leaders did not campaign only through video conferencing. Then, he asked whether every restriction applied only to the public. Through these questions, he accused BJP of demanding sacrifice from citizens. Meanwhile, he pointed toward alleged election-time excesses by BJP.
Fear In Trade, Business And Markets
Akhilesh warned that such appeals could damage public confidence. He said traders, businesses, and markets may fear slowdown. Moreover, people may worry about inflation. According to him, fear, anxiety, restlessness, and despair could spread. He said governments should use vast resources during emergencies. Instead, he argued, governments should not spread fear or chaos.
Failure Claim Against BJP
The former Chief Minister said BJP leaders should admit failure. He added that they should not ruin the country. Further, he linked present conditions to foreign policy choices. According to him, BJP left India’s traditional non-alignment policy. He said the government followed some groups due to special reasons and pressures.
Public Pays The Price
Akhilesh claimed citizens now face the cost of those choices. He mentioned inflation, unemployment, joblessness, and recession. Then, he said farmers, labourers, youth, homemakers, employees, professionals, and traders face the impact. In his view, everyone has come under this pressure. He also said BJP failed in both foreign and domestic policy.
Orange Alert Mentioned In Uttarakhand
The reference also mentioned an orange alert in Uttarakhand. Authorities advised Chardham pilgrims to remain cautious amid storm and rain conditions. This line appeared alongside the political remarks. However, the main debate focused on Modi’s appeal and opposition criticism.
Akhilesh Says BJP’s Flaws Came Out
Akhilesh called Modi’s appeal an admission of government failure. He said BJP’s flaw emerged as soon as it received votes. Then, he accused BJP leaders of poll irregularities. He said they polluted politics through election scams. Moreover, he claimed they damaged social harmony by spreading hatred.
Culture, Religion And Economy Charge

According to him, BJP cannot manage that anger through election tactics. He said BJP would go forever. He ended with, “Today’s country says, we do not need BJP.”

Congress spokesperson Surendra Rajput also criticised PM Modi’s appeal. He said the Prime Minister and BJP had ruined the country. Further, he said Modi does not know how to run the government.
