A political controversy over a fish feast during the Sawan month continues to dominate Uttar Pradesh politics. BJP has been attacking UP Congress chief Ajay Rai and his party over the issue. Meanwhile, Ajay Rai has made fresh allegations against BJP.
In Varanasi, Ajay Rai claimed BJP could release an AI-generated picture showing him eating fish. He alleged that BJP has blocked his WhatsApp account. According to Rai, the party has power and authority, allowing it to do anything.
Congress Strength Growing In Uttar Pradesh, Says Ajay Rai
Ajay Rai said Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath now describes BJP and Congress as the main rivals in Uttar Pradesh. He claimed Congress strength continues to rise across the state. Furthermore, he said people are supporting the party.
Rai also criticised the Yogi government’s announcement of providing one lakh jobs. He called the announcement insufficient and compared it with previous promises of two crore jobs annually. According to him, people will not trust BJP’s claims anymore.
Nishad Community Anger Becomes Political Issue
Ajay Rai also spoke about the Nishad community’s response to recent developments. He said making fish consumption an issue in Ayodhya created dissatisfaction.
Additionally, he alleged that Hanuman Garhi temple priest Raju Das used abusive remarks against Nishad community leader Kunwar Singh Nishad. Rai claimed this incident increased support for Congress among Nishad community members.
Ajay Rai Targets Mayawati Over BSP Decision
Ajay Rai also reacted to BSP chief Mayawati’s decision to contest elections independently. He alleged that the move benefits BJP.
Moreover, Rai claimed the decision proves BSP works as BJP’s B team. He said Mayawati’s choice to fight alone helps the ruling party.
