Shruti stayed in Radhe Krishna Hostel, Secretariat Colony, Patna, preparing for NEET since 2024. On Tuesday, 2 June, her body was found hanging in her room, where she studied day and night. Investigators reported the horrifying scene after her evening meal the previous night.

Personal Struggles and Family Dynamics

Shruti returned to Patna from her village ten days earlier. Friends revealed she repeatedly said, “Mom and Dad do not talk to me.” This lack of communication added to her stress and emotional isolation.
