PM Modi Meets UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed, Condemns Attacks, Affirms Strong Bilateral Support

During his UAE visit, PM Modi pledged India’s unwavering support to UAE, condemned attacks, and praised warm reception in Abu Dhabi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in the United Arab Emirates as part of a five-country tour. Moreover, he received a warm welcome at Abu Dhabi airport from President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The airport ceremony included a formal guard of honor.

During the official visit, both leaders began delegation-level discussions. Modi said India will work with UAE across all sectors in the coming years. Furthermore, he affirmed that India stands with UAE in every situation.

Addressing West Asia Tensions and Condemning Attacks

Modi highlighted the ongoing war in West Asia and stressed the need for dialogue and restraint. He also strongly condemned attacks targeting UAE. Additionally, he thanked the UAE government for ensuring the safety of the Indian community in the country.

Personal Exchange and Warm Relations

Prime Minister Modi expressed that he had long wished to meet President Mohammed bin Zayed. He stated that frequent phone calls had maintained close communication. During delegation talks, Modi said, “I feel at home here. Your heartfelt welcome means a lot to me.”

In response, the UAE President welcomed Modi, saying he has come to his “second home.” Both leaders discussed bilateral ties, regional security, and other important matters. Moreover, UAE Air Force jets provided security for Modi, reflecting respect for the Indian people.
