Nadda Accuses Congress of Provoking Public
Nadda also accused Congress of inciting public unrest. He mentioned, “A Congress leader was caught hoarding gas cylinders. They are stirring up trouble during this difficult time.” Nadda criticized the opposition for politicizing such a sensitive matter.
Government’s Assurance on LPG and Fuel Supplies
The government reassured the public about the safety of LPG, petrol, and diesel supplies. It claimed that domestic LPG refill bookings had dropped from 88.8 million on March 13 to 77 million. According to PTI reports, the government stated that supplies were secure, and there was no shortage.
