US President Donald Trump made a sensational statement during his ‘State of the Union’ address.
He said he personally saved Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during Operation Sindoor.
Moreover, he again credited himself for brokering a ceasefire between India and Pakistan.
Furthermore, he told lawmakers that without his intervention, Shehbaz Sharif could have died.
Additionally, he claimed his involvement prevented a nuclear confrontation between the two nations.
Trump stated that during his first 10 months, he ended eight wars.
He asserted that a nuclear war between Pakistan and India would have erupted otherwise.
He told members of Congress that 35 million people believed Sharif would have died without his role.
However, he did not specifically elaborate further on Operation Sindoor in detail.
Trump Repeats Ceasefire Credit
Meanwhile, Trump once again claimed credit for stopping escalation between both countries. He said his administration used trade agreements and tariff measures to prevent rising tensions. However, India has not accepted his repeated claims regarding this intervention. Recently, he reiterated that his leadership halted the India-Pakistan confrontation.
