The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET June 2026 e-certificate. Successful candidates can now access their certificates online. The document applies to candidates who achieved eligibility for JRF, Assistant Professor, or PhD admission.
Candidates need to visit the official UGC NET website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in, to download their certificates. The e-certificate mentions the qualification category achieved during the examination. Therefore, candidates should save the document safely for future admission, research, or recruitment-related requirements.
Four Categories Of E-Certificates Issued
NTA has issued four types of e-certificates based on candidate qualifications. These include only JRF eligibility, JRF with Assistant Professor eligibility, Assistant Professor and PhD admission eligibility, and only PhD admission eligibility.
Moreover, candidates will receive certificates according to their qualifying status in the UGC NET June 2026 examination. The certificate category reflects the eligibility achieved by each candidate.
UGC NET June 2026 Exam Details And Download Process
The UGC NET June 2026 examination took place through CBT mode on June 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, and 30, along with July 5. Later, NTA conducted re-examinations for English, Commerce, and Sociology subjects on September 9 and 10.
Earlier, NTA announced results for 84 subjects on August 28. However, results for three remaining subjects arrived on September 17 after their re-examinations. NTA conducted these re-exams because papers contained language, translation, typing errors, incorrect questions, and repeated questions.
The re-examination occurred across 454 centres in 272 cities. Additionally, 1,96,491 candidates registered, while 1,20,355 candidates appeared.
To download the UGC NET e-certificate, candidates should first open ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Next, they must select the e-certificate link for UGC NET June 2026. After that, candidates need to enter login details and submit the information.
The certificate will appear on the screen after successful login. Candidates should verify their name and qualification category before downloading the document. Finally, they should store the e-certificate securely.
