The court sent accused Kalyan Bainsla to two days of police remand in the Gurugram hit and run case. The order came after lunch proceedings. Earlier, Gurugram Police brought Kalyan Bainsla and Lavneesh before the court. Police had requested two-day custody of Kalyan Bainsla. The court will hear the matter again on September 18.
Police Plans Crime Scene Reconstruction
Police said they will recreate the accident scene during the investigation. The team will also find who was present inside the car during the incident. This step will help police understand the sequence of events.
Meanwhile, the defence team opposed the police action during the hearing. The defence argued that media coverage influenced the registration of an attempt to murder case. They stated that Section 109 requires a motive for an attempt to murder charge.
Defence Raises Questions Over Charges
According to the defence, the incident does not show any clear motive. They also argued that the riders’ clothes and helmets did not reveal whether they were boys or girls. The defence presented these points while challenging the charges in the case.
