Gurugram Hit-and-Run Case: Siya Questions Driver’s Actions After Crash

Bike rider Siya shared her side of the Gurugram hit-and-run case, questioning why the car driver did not stop after the collision.

The Gurugram bike hit-and-run case has taken a new turn. Victim bike rider Siya shared her side through a new video. She said the car driver hit her and left without checking her condition. According to Siya, the driver did not stop to see whether she survived. Meanwhile, Siya questioned the driver’s regret after the incident. She asked why the driver did not stop if he felt sorry.

Siya said, “The entire video shows who was provoking whom. If you thought we were changing speeds, why did you follow us?” She also questioned the driver’s claim about not knowing the rider was a woman. Siya said her long hair and braid were clearly visible.

Siya Raises Questions Over Available Videos

Furthermore, Siya questioned the driver’s statement about several people being present. She asked why only two videos appeared publicly.

She said both videos clearly explain the incident. One video shows the car moving from one lane to another before hitting her.Additionally, Siya said her camera recorded the impact. She claimed her body rubbed against the vehicle before falling on the road. She questioned the driver’s decision to leave after the crash. According to Siya, the driver should have stopped and checked her injuries.

She added that even a delay of two or three seconds could have caused serious injuries. Siya said the incident could have broken her bones or caused death.

Siya Accuses Driver Of Seeking Sympathy

Siya alleged that the driver now wants public sympathy. She said the videos show the driver leaving the scene. According to Siya, the driver did not wait even for a second. She said he did not check whether she was alive. Meanwhile, Siya’s father Roshan Chauhan spoke with ABP News. He said they filed a written complaint and registered a case.

Roshan said police officials would visit Delhi to record statements. He demanded strict sections against the accused.

He said the incident involved an attempt to hit his daughter intentionally. Roshan also mentioned hit-and-run and attempt to murder charges.

Father Says Daughter Has Ridden Bikes For Years

Roshan Chauhan said his daughter has been riding bikes since college. He advised her to reveal the incident instead of hiding it. He said such incidents should not happen with any other daughter. According to him, the collision could have caused a bigger tragedy.

Furthermore, Gurugram Police continues investigating the case. Both sides have presented different versions after the videos emerged.
