Damaged Building Removal Begins With Hand Tools
Authorities started removing the damaged building in Satya Niketan after cracks appeared. Workers cleared all belongings from the structure before the action. Additionally, officials evacuated five to six nearby buildings around the affected structure. Authorities moved residents out as a safety measure. However, workers are not using bulldozers or heavy machines for demolition. Instead, teams are using hammers and other tools to remove the weak structure.
Meanwhile, an MCD team remains present at the location. The team has started removing the vulnerable building beside the collapsed structure.
Security forces have also been deployed at the site. Officials are maintaining strict security during the ongoing operation.
