Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made a major announcement for state youth. He said the government will provide one lakh jobs within six months. The announcement came during an appointment letter distribution programme in Lucknow. The event took place at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. During the programme, CM Yogi distributed appointment letters to 3,446 technical assistants and 126 market secretaries.
He assured young people across Uttar Pradesh about upcoming government appointments. The recruitment process will happen through different stages every week.
CM highlights transparent recruitment process
Yogi Adityanath said the government completed recruitment through a completely transparent process. He called fair appointments a challenging task. According to him, selecting deserving candidates without discrimination remains difficult. He added that authorities followed reservation rules during appointments.
The Chief Minister said transparent selection benefits the entire state. He also emphasised that eligible candidates received appointment letters fairly.
Government claims over 9.30 lakh appointments
CM Yogi said his government successfully provided government jobs to more than 9.30 lakh youth. He added that nobody can question even one appointment made during this period. The Chief Minister highlighted the recruitment record of his government.
Furthermore, he targeted the Samajwadi Party over earlier recruitment processes. He alleged that before 2017, corruption affected appointments. Yogi claimed advertisements for jobs brought the uncle-nephew duo and the “Mahabharat family” for collecting money.
He said young people waited for results and often faced court stays. According to him, this wasted their time and age.
CM targets corruption and exam mafia
The Chief Minister said people believed unemployed youth lacked ability. However, he blamed corrupt officials and people within government systems. He stated that the fault was not with young candidates. Instead, he accused corrupt elements of damaging recruitment systems. Yogi said his government would break the influence of copying mafias and mafias operating in different institutions.
He added that his administration would also take action against those supporting such groups.
