NDA and Opposition MPs Face Off Outside Parliament as Security Forms a Human Shield Amid Final-Day Chaos

Rival lawmakers confronted each other during demonstrations, while opposition leaders demanded Amit Shah’s response and NDA MPs targeted Rahul Gandhi.

Tensions continued between NDA and opposition MPs on the Monsoon Session’s final day. On Thursday, August 13, lawmakers from both sides demonstrated inside the Parliament complex. During those protests, rival groups came directly face-to-face. Moreover, intense slogan shouting followed as political tensions increased.

Security guards immediately positioned themselves between the two groups. They formed a protective shield separating lawmakers during the confrontation. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge also appeared during the protest.

Opposition Demands Amit Shah’s Statement Over Delhi Lathi-Charge

Opposition MPs raised slogans demanding a statement from Home Minister Amit Shah. Their protest focused on the lathi-charge that took place in Delhi. Furthermore, lawmakers demanded Shah’s presence inside the House.

Opposition members also sought discussion over the Ram Mandir donation theft issue. Therefore, their demonstration combined demands concerning both matters.

NDA MPs Target Rahul Gandhi Over Jharkhand Student Protest

Meanwhile, NDA lawmakers raised slogans against Rahul Gandhi during their demonstration. Their protest centred on the lathi-charge during Jharkhand’s student movement.

Consequently, both political camps confronted each other with separate demands on Parliament’s final Monsoon Session day. Security personnel remained positioned between them as slogans continued from both sides.
