Rahul Gandhi demands discussion on police action
During the meeting, Rahul Gandhi clearly raised the opposition’s concerns. He demanded a parliamentary discussion on alleged police lathi-charge against protesters. Furthermore, he asked Union Home Minister to appear inside the House. He wanted the minister to provide a statement on the issue.
The opposition believes the government should answer these concerns within Parliament.
