Arvind Kejriwal, the National Convenor of AAP and former Delhi CM, has shifted to his new government-allotted bungalow. He shared the news via a post on social media. On X, Kejriwal stated, “Recently, the central government allotted me a house as per the court’s order. I have now moved in with my family.”

The New Address: 95, Lodi Estate, New Delhi
The government had earlier allotted Kejriwal a Type-7 bungalow in Lutyens Delhi. His new address is 95, Lodi Estate, New Delhi. After resigning from his CM role, Kejriwal vacated the official residence. The BJP criticized his CM residence, calling it “Sheesh Mahal.” Afterward, Kejriwal stayed at the residence of AAP MP Ashok Mittal.
Court’s Involvement in Kejriwal’s New Home
Kejriwal also mentioned in his post that the bungalow came after a court order. He clarified that it wasn’t just the government’s decision. The Type-7 bungalow, usually assigned to distinguished individuals, spans 5,000 square feet. It includes four rooms, two lawns, three servant quarters, a garage, and an office space.
National Party Leader’s Entitlement to a Government Bungalow
According to regulations, presidents of national parties receive bungalows in Delhi. Kejriwal’s new residence follows this rule. Former Delhi CMs do not get government bungalows, so Kejriwal was without an official residence after stepping down.
