Allahabad High Court to hear anticipatory bail plea as narco test call intensifies Shankaracharya controversy

Allahabad High Court will hear Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati’s anticipatory bail plea tomorrow. He moved the application to avoid arrest. Jhunsi police station registered a sexual harassment case against him. Therefore, he approached the court seeking legal protection.

Court number 72 placed the matter in the fresh cause list. The case stands at serial number 142. The hearing will occur on Friday, 27 February. Justice Jitendra Kumar Sinha will preside over proceedings. A single bench under him will examine the plea.

Narco test demand escalates controversy

Meanwhile, the dispute around the case continues to deepen. Dinesh Falahari Maharaj came out in support of the Shankaracharya. He demanded a narco test for the students who levelled allegations. Additionally, he named Ashutosh Pandey in that request.

Furthermore, he sent a letter to the President on this issue. He claimed that someone threatened him from another mobile number. According to him, that person warned about framing him in a false case.

Fresh accusations add to tensions

Falahari Baba also raised allegations against Ashutosh. He described Ashutosh Brahmachari as a history-sheeter. Moreover, he accused him of arranging cow slaughter. He alleged that Ashutosh crafted a conspiracy. According to him, that move aimed to trap the Shankaracharya.

Consequently, legal action and public claims now move parallelly. The upcoming hearing will shape the immediate course of the matter.
