The Bharatiya Janata Party government in Delhi completed one year on Friday, February 20. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta marked the occasion with a temple visit. She offered prayers at the Marghat Wale Hanuman Temple. During the visit, she sought the blessings of Marutinandan. Moreover, she expressed wishes for happiness and prosperity for Delhi residents. She said she prayed for peace and well-being in every household.

While addressing the occasion, Rekha Gupta spoke about service and dedication. She said she prayed for strength to continue serving people. Additionally, she sought guidance to move forward with humility and commitment. She emphasised her resolve toward public welfare.
Furthermore, she wished that every Delhi citizen experiences joy and stability.

Later, Rekha Gupta shared a message on social media. In her post, she mentioned visiting the Marghat Wale Hanuman Temple. She wrote that she received blessings on the completion of one year in office.
She also repeated her prayer for continued dedication and humility. Additionally, she reaffirmed her commitment to public welfare. She concluded by wishing peace, happiness and prosperity for all Delhi residents.

Government Initiatives in First Year
Over the past year, the Rekha Gupta government implemented several measures. Authorities launched Atal Canteen during this period. They also introduced Ayushman Bharat in Delhi. In addition, they rolled out the Vay Vandana Yojana. However, citizens still expect fulfilment of certain promises.
People await the proposed increase in pension for senior citizens.
Many also look forward to the promised monthly assistance of Rs 2,500 for women.
